Hi, I’m Marina Xaykosy (Zy-cozy)
Born in Rhode Island and raised in South Carolina, my love for photography began at a very young age when my father introduced cameras as an integral part of my childhood. I began shooting in high school after joining photography club, assisting in media coverage. I ventured outside of school assignments by working for music publications - photographing musical artists such as The 1975, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Passion Pit, and other notable names as a senior in high school. Concerts slowly turned into portraiture where couples and weddings became the highlight of my portfolio. I LOVE love. I love the emotion, people, and stories it brings together. It is such a privilege to capture so many facets of what drives us as individuals.
On the days where I am not behind the lens, you can find me flying as a commercial pilot and flight instructor or diving into wellness activities.
Every composition is carefully considered, with a focus on what truly matters—whether it’s the soft play of light, the delicate details, or the quiet spaces between subjects. I seek to create images that stand the test of time, capturing fleeting moments in a way that feels both deliberate and eternal. My photography is a quiet conversation between the present moment and the timeless beauty of simplicity.

My approach is calm and focused, always prioritizing the comfort and ease of my clients—especially in high-stress situations.
